4877 #UX5, VF, bearing a VF-XF strike of magenta SUN. VAL. R.R., AUG 20 (1877) railroad postmark, card datelined Short Falls (NH) to Amesbury, MA. This Suncook Valley Railroad postmark (Towle 27-A-1, Pittsfield, NH, to Lawrence, MA via Concord R.R.) is rated scarce (14) and only listed in black. Nice railway postmark item. $50
4797 #UX5, VF, mild bend at UL, canceled by an XF strike of asymmetric fancy New Orleans circle of wedges/circle of Vs killer, card to Hammondsport, NY, JUL 12, 1881 usage. Pretty. $45

2993 #UX9, VF postal, bearing a F-VF example of a Goldsborough handstamp numeral 9 ellipse used from SHELDON, DAK (territory) in OCT 16, 1889. Sheldon (Ransom County, North Dakota) was establish in 1881.

2842 #UX1, VF, bearing a superb strike of positive Roman numeral VIII in bars hand carved killer of New York City. This very scarce killer is known used in August and September 1874. This AUG 13 postmark and fine detail of the killer suggest that this strike is an early use.
