3525 #O85, fine 3 cent War, sound, tied by black cork killer with Washington, DC AUG 24 postmark (circa 1874-75) on War Department, Surgeon General's Office envelope, opened at left. $50
4320 #O85, fine, fresh, 3 cent War, bearing a spectacular 100% strike of NEW ORLEANS, LA fiery cross killer, easily the finest strike on an official extant. Stamp has a thinned perf at top but is otherwise sound.  An incredible fancy cancel. (HCS) SOLD
4363 #O85, 3 cent War, canceled by an XF strike of bold circle of Vs killer, possibly New Orleans. Stamp has small, deep thin under the killer that projects to the stamp surface. (HCS) SOLD
4028 #O85, 3 cent War, scissor separated, bearing a VF and attractive strike of indigo blue star in circle killer. $10
3414 #O85 block of 4, avg, used, two fair strikes of Missoula, MONT (Montana territory) postmarks.  Used blocks of low value War stamps are extremely scarce, especially with town postmarks.  Scissor separated at top and bottom, horizontal wrinkle.  A great item!

3945 #UO55 3 cent War entire, bearing a VF+ strike of large blue letter H in circle with matching strike of FOREST & AURORA AGT. postmark (Towle 730-A-1, Aurora to Forreston, Ill. via Chicago & Iowa R.R.). Scarce fancy cancel, railroad usage combination.  Minor water spot at right does not detract. SOLD
3892 #UO54, VF intact entire, bearing a F-VF strike of violet double ring DARBY, DELAWARE CO., PA., APR 1, 1882 postmark with matching target killer. Washington, DC, receiving mark on back. County name postmarks are quite scarce on these entires.  Unobtrusive half inch tear at top. $30
4912 #O 86, fine, minor toning at left, bearing an XF-superb strike of bold letter T killer, most likely from St. Paul, MN. Great killer. $25
4366 #O86, 6 cent War, canceled by an XF strike of Fort Leavenworth, KS fancy honeycomb geometric killer, stamp with tiny thin. (HCS) $40
3277 #O86, F-VF, cancelled by an XF strike of US (S in U) fancy killer of Jefferson Barracks. An attractive example of this scarce killer on official. Stamp has a small filled thin. $30
4324 #O86, 6 cent War, fine, tied by quartered cork killer with light Washington, DC postmark on fine Adjutant General's Office cover to Tennessee, half inch reduction at right affects nothing, minor docketing at left. $95
3233 #O86, VF 6 cent War, minor perf faults, tied by quartered cork Washington, DC killer on fine, unreduced Adjutant General's Office envelope, docketed FEB 6, 1875 on back. One inch tear at left, still attractive and scarce usage.

2414 #O88, fine 10 cent War, bearing a superb SOTN strike of FORT APACHE, ARIZONA, OCT 19 1883 postmark. Stamp has light surface rub at upper left and single nibbed perf at right. A wonderful and scarce fort killer on official.

3876 #O90, F-VF, bearing a VF SOTN strike of very scarce LAPWAI, IDAHO, JUL 7, 1881 postmark (Lapwai, Nez Perce Cnty, 1868-). Fort Lapwai, Idaho Territory, served from 1862 until 1884 protecting western settlers. SOLD
4144 #O92, 30 cent War, VF, bearing two VF strikes of size 3 bottle stopper killer of FORT LEAVENWORTH, KS. Scarce. Stamp has an unobtrusive 3 mm tear at top, still a great cancellation item on an official. SOLD
4659 #O92, XF 30 cent War, canceled by a VF-XF SOTN strike of blue FORT DAVIS, TEXAS, NOV 16, 1880 postmark and partial star killer.  Stamp has a couple nibbed perfs at bottom, is otherwise sound.  A terrific and very scarce fort cancel on a high value official. $225
2972 #O92, 30 cent War, bearing a F-VF strike of unusual square shield killer (inverted). Scarce fancy killer on official. $20
4020 #O97, 2 cent Interior soft paper, VF used top margin block of 6 (partial capture of plate number), light CDS with duplexed ellipse killer (city cannot be determined). Block has a few faults, as to be expected on large multiples, including internal tear in BL stamp and corner creases on BL and BR stamps. All used official blocks are extremely scarce. SOLD
3822 #O97, VF, sound, bearing an VF-XF strike of scarce circle-in-triangle-in-circle killer of Fall River, WI (Cole GET-48, 1884 reported usage), probably a "seeing eye" Masonic killer. Scarce and desirable fancy cancel. SOLD
