4888 #210, average, with fine #206 on XF, intact U281 2c entire, canceled by New York City 1886 postmarks and numeral 46 ellipse killers, paying UPU rate to Lisbon, Portugal, an exceptionally scarce European destination. $150
4887 #210, #205 and #212, fine sound copies on VF, intact U311, canceled by Minneapolis, MN 1887 postmarks and ellipse killer paying double rate to Madrid, Spain. Cover addressed to "Physician to Her Brittanic Majesty's Legation."  A very attractive 4 color franking to uncommon destination. $85
4886 #210, F+, on XF, intact U277 2 cent brown entire canceled CLIFTON SPRINGS, NY, 1886, to Denmark. The letter, being short paid by 1 cent, received a NY Exchange office binocular 5 centimes due mark.  In Denmark the shortage was converted to 8 ore double deficiency as note by red crayon 8.  Cover mailed from the Clifton Springs Sanitarium Co. and forwarded in Denmark.  Quite an attractive cover to a rather scarce European destination. $100
4885 #210, fine, tied by hollowed quartered cork killer on VF, intact W120, 1 cent wrapper, paying postage for up to six ounces of printed matter to Helsingfors (Helsinki), Finland. Scarce and desirable destination and usage. $100
4757 #210, fine, on XF intact U167 paying the UPU rate to San Jose, COSTA RICA, Central America. Stamps canceled by two strikes of NYC SEP 11, 1884 postmark and numeral 36 ellipse. An extremely scarce destination. $200
4668 #157, F+, sound, on intact U163 entire, both canceled by two VF strikes of blue Chicago large letter C killer (Berg LC-1), 1875 cover to Denmark, red Chicago PAID ALL, back stamped Slagelse. Very small cover repair at lower right front of the cover.  Scarce destination.  (HCS) SOLD
4644 #UX5, fine, uprated by #156, to Belgium, stamp canceled by superb strike of BROOKLYN, NY negative letter B in large, hand-carved ellipse with 2nd strike canceling card indicia. The killers just POP!  Exceptionally eye catching. SOLD
4106 #183, #184, #185, tied on intact tissue paper cover to Germany by VF type F N.Y. SUPPLEMENTARY FEB 28 PAID 1880 postmark and numeral 2 ellipse killers, Frankfurt back stamp. Minor cover wrinkles and edge faults.  Scarce and attractive multicolor franking and usage.
