4101 #158, F-VF sound SE copy, just tied by blue grid killer with superb strike of very unusual matching GALENA 18 O 78, MAR 25 double circle postmark on XF fresh cover to Oberlin, OH. A wonderful fancy Ohio postmark. SOLD
3904 #158, fine, tied by XF-S strike of magenta Fraternal keystone in circle killer (Cole MA-4, symbol of Royal Arch Masonry) with duplexed double ring CORNWALL BRIDGE, CONN. 1874 postmark on clean cover, reduced 1/2 inch at right. Stamp repair to UR corner.  Scarce and desirable Masonic fancy cancel.

3551 #147, fine, with #98 E grill, fair, each cancelled by target killer, on fine registered cover from EXETER, ME. Cover has purple SELECTMEN and Overseers of the Poor's Office corner advertisement, 1/4 inch reduced at left.  Scarce combination use of 1867 and Banknote issue. $150

2989 #136, VF, sound end roller grill variety (enlarged scan), just tied by HINGHAM, MA postmark on small, fine, unreduced cover to Hartford, CT, light ADVERTISED in circle.  Stamp has minor gum soaked perforations at right. Extremely scarce variety, especially on cover and sound.  2006 PFC.

2373 #158, VF, tied by a VF-XF strike of a blue broken heart fancy killer (unlisted in Cole) with matching Concord, NH DEC 11 postmark. Enclosed letter verifies 1876 usage. Stamp creased along vertical cover bend at right.
