4946 #207, fine, sound canceled by an XF strike of WATERBURY, CT leaf killer (Rohloff L-30, RR scarcity) with XF NOV 29 (1882) postmark on XF intact embossed corner advertising cover. Cover bears a fancy magenta GOODYEAR RUBBER MFG. CO. receiving stamp on front, picturing a rubber glove.  A GEM cover and fancy cancel! $75
4876 #158, fine, faults, tied by VF strike of blue 73 year date in hand carved, British style ellipse with rimless JUNCTION CITY, KAN, SEP 13 (1873) postmark (Cole YD-25), cover roughly opened at right, cover tears. Many consider this killer to be the first ellipse killer used on U.S. mail.  Scarce and desirable despite the faults. SOLD
4736 #158, fine, tied by XF example of small WASHINGTON, DC NOV 9, 1877 postmark with duplexed star killer on VF intact cover. Scarce Washington, DC experimental cancel with translucent black ink only known used in November 1877. SOLD
4532 #207, fine, SE, sound, tied by unusual elongated fancy grid killer with matching DENVER, COLO. postmark on fresh cover to Ann Arbor, MI, back stamped. Killer is unlisted in references. Quarter inch cover reduction at left. $25
4492 #158, VF, small fault, tied by an XF strike of negative right-pointing arrow of ST. JOSEPH, MO (Cole AR-18, Whitfield 1044) on F-VF cover, neatly opened at right. A great example of this interesting and unusual killer.  (HCS) SOLD
4333 #158, XF, bright, fresh and sound, tied by bright red cork killer with matching OSKALOOSA, IOA, AUG 14 (1874) postmark on VF cover with correspondence discussing life and new construction in town. Good Iowa postal history. $30
4215 #158, VF, sound, canceled by a beautiful, SOTN strike of blue negative double tau killer with matching SAVANNAH, GA postmark just tying stamp to VF intact corner card advertising cover. Partial correspondence on back.  A striking killer and cover.

3904 #158, fine, tied by XF-S strike of magenta Fraternal keystone in circle killer (Cole MA-4, symbol of Royal Arch Masonry) with duplexed double ring CORNWALL BRIDGE, CONN. 1874 postmark on clean cover, reduced 1/2 inch at right. Stamp repair to UR corner.  Scarce and desirable Masonic fancy cancel.

2989 #136, VF, sound end roller grill variety (enlarged scan), just tied by HINGHAM, MA postmark on small, fine, unreduced cover to Hartford, CT, light ADVERTISED in circle.  Stamp has minor gum soaked perforations at right. Extremely scarce variety, especially on cover and sound.  2006 PFC.
