stemmed leaf killer. According to research by a noted NYFM
cancel collector and recently documented in the May 2008 issue of
the U.S. Cancellation Club News, this is an unlisted NYFM fancy
killer (designated by the author as RE-LF5) used over a short
period in April-May of 1870. NYFM cancels on 1869 issues
are highly desirable. Stamp has two tiny corner perf creases at
top. A very attractive fancy cancel on 1869 issue. |
