5317 #64b, fine, tiny fault, tied by a superb strike of fancy crossroads geometric in circle killer (Skinner-Eno GE-E 91) with XF matching KINGSTON, NY double ring postmark on canary cover, 8 mm reduction at left, small edge faults.

5210 #65, VF, light target killer ties to fine intact cover with VF+ strike of TENNALLYTOWN, D.C. postmark. This is a quite scarce District of Columbia postmark (1846-94, Helbock scarcity 6).

5012 #73, fair to fine, sound, on VF fresh intact unsealed envelope and tied by an XF strike of Boston, MA negative star killer (Skinner-Eno ST-O 23). Commission merchant embossed back flap. Mounting stains, reverse only. $65

This variety FREE is unlisted in Skinner-Eno.  Moreover, Scott does not list a FREE killer on this stamp.  Dated printed list of Wales Manufacturing Company stockholders enclosed.  A rare use of the Blackjack. $100

Corner has corner advertisement for Globe Hotel, Jacksonville, IL, "At the Junction of the St. Louis, Jacksonville & Chicago, and Toledo, Wabash & Western Railroads."  Neat item. SOLD
