4896 # 11, fine, tied by VF+ SOTN strike of unusual 10 bar killer in circle hand carved killer on VF intact cover canceled SOUTH LIVONIA, NY (Livingston County DPO 1832-1937), JUNE 25 postmark. Contains personal letter datelined 1856.  Simpson's list a small 13-bar circular grid for this town. $45
4750 #26, fine, tied by XF strike of unusual rimless LIND, WIS postmark on intact cover to New York. Lind is a Waupaca County DPO, 1850-1902 (Helbock 4 scarcity). Early and very attractive use from this town. $60
4691 #26, fine, tied by VF strike of unusual KILLINGLY, CT. large octagonal postmark (S-E PM-TF 14, DPO Windham County, 1842-1950) on fine cover, 1/2 inch reduced at left, two ink stains at bottom. Scarce struck this nice.

4647 #11A, F+, canceled by a VF+ SOTN 5-bar rectangular killer on VF cover with NORWICH, CT PAID SEP 2 old style postmark (2 overwritten by 3). Unlisted carved killer. Contains 1853 dated letter.

4422 #26, F-VF+, sound, tied by a superb strike of fancy diamond grid geometric killer on VF intact cover postmarked PAPER MILL VILLAGE, NH to Beverly, MA. Cover is pictured on page 133 in Simpson's with killer listed as #199 on page 143.  Address ink is light but completely readable, although not showing well in scan.  (HCS)

3723 #11, VF 4 margin copy, plated 97L6, just in at BL, tied by an XF strike of red INVERNESS, NY postmark (DLO Livingston County, 1853-62, Helbock 4, early use) on VF unreduced cover to Canton, IL. Unusual "Paid 38" manuscript, probably a box number.  A cover with great eye appeal. SOLD

2428 #11, VF 4 margin copy, manuscript cancel with matching Pleasant Grove, PA manuscript postmark (DPO, Lancaster County, 1841-1935) on small unreduced cover. 1827 #14, pen cancelled, on fine embossed ladies cover bearing superb strike of orange red Strawberry Valley, California (Yuba County, 1855-present) postmark (Simpson rarity 7). Four-margin stamp with small nick and small cover fault at upper right.  An extremely eye-catching cover.
