3824 #26, average, pen cancel, on VF FLS with XF MIDWAY, ARK, Feb 8 (1860) manuscript postmark (Hot Springs county DPO, 1850-78, Helbock 7 scarcity), verified by letter (scan). Letter mentions lack of safety in the mails.  Terrific piece of Arkansas postal history. $85
