4680 #11A, fine, tied by F+ strike of NEW YORK & PHILA R.R. (New York & Philadelphia Railroad) postmark (Remele N15-b) on VF external letter sheet to Richmond, PA. Yellow orange New York forwarders oval hand stamp on front. SOLD
4690 #11A, fine, on cover front canceled by MARIETTA, OHIO 3 PAID, JUL 16 (1852) postmark to New York, with VF ADVERTISED and VF large double oval D.C. DEPARTMENT DEAD LETTER OFFICE hand stamp, JAN 21, 1853. Scarce. SOLD
4579 #26, fine, sound, tied by VF strike of outline star in circle killer (Skinner-Eno ST-O 17) with MORRIS, IL, JUL 29, 1861 postmark (Grundy County, 1842-) on F-VF intact cover to Plainfield, IL. $100
4604 # 26, fair-fine, tied by superb strike of an elongated, slightly oval unframed grid killer composed of 7 thin bars on intact cover postmarked PRINCETON, N.J, OCT 29, docketed 1860. Neat unlisted killer. $60
4651 #11A, faults, canceled South Hadley Falls, MA, addressed to Troy, NH, but mistakenly sent to TROY, NY from where it was forwarded after receiving postmark and 2 VF matching blue strikes of MIS SENT in lozenge. SOLD
4419 #11, VF 4 margin copy, tiny fault at upper right, just tied by a superb SOTN strike of unusual grid in circle killer with VF matching WESTBORO Mass., postmark on unreduced cover, small patch of back paper missing, flap intact. Cancel is listed as #145, page 139 of Simpson's.  (HCS) $100
4420 #26, fine, sound, canceled by two XF strikes of tiny face-like killer with VF TAYLOR, NY postmark on unreduced cover with small piece of back flap missing in the middle.  Simpson's lists this as killer #262 on page147.  However, the tracing is taken from a worn example and looks like a letter V in circle.  The killer impression on this stamp clearly shows two detached "comma-like" brows and a dash nose, all separated.  A terrific fancy cancel cover!  (HCS) SOLD

4421 # 26, fine, perf faults at top, tied by an XF strike of an unusual small circular geometric killer with VF matching BOARDMAN, OHIO postmark (DPO Mahoning Cty, 1808-1906) on clean cover, opened on both ends, tiny reductions.  (HCS) $75
