5231 #26, F+, sound, tied by a superb strike of blue outline 5-point star around central circle (possibly Skinner-Eno ST-D 25) with VF NEW ALSTEAD, NH, MAY 16 postmark on fresh cover, 10 mm reduction at right. Ex-Beane. SOLD
5091 #26, fine, sound, tied by Brooklyn, NY postmark on VF intact small cover to Columbia, SC. Cover re-addressed and marked with XF blue FORWARDED (manuscript 3) and matching blue COLUMBIA, S.C. postmark. A beauty. SOLD

4420 #26, fine, sound, canceled by two XF strikes of tiny face-like killer with VF TAYLOR, NY postmark on unreduced cover with small piece of back flap missing in the middle.  Simpson's lists this as killer #262 on page147.  However, the tracing is taken from a worn example and looks like a letter V in circle.  The killer impression on this stamp clearly shows two detached "comma-like" brows and a dash nose, all separated.  A terrific fancy cancel cover!  (HCS) SOLD
